The former Affinity Medical Center in Massillon could be reopened as a temporary hospital for an expected surge of coronavirus cases.
City officials say they've offered the building to state and local officials, citing its good condition and room for 180 beds.
The city of Massillon bought the hospital building and equipment when it was abruptly shuttered in 2018.
