A 17-year-old girl and her dog are being recognized as heroes by the Red Cross for saving her grandmother’s life.
Elise Kilmer’s puppy, Saige, alerted her that something was wrong and the teen found her grandmother unconscious and choking.
She called 911 and did CPR until first responders arrived and her grandmother has since recovered.
