LeBron James got the best of Zion Williamson in their first career meeting as the Lakers beat the Pelicans 118-109 in Los Angeles.
James finished with 40 points as LA won its sixth straight to improve to 44-and-12.
Williamson scored 29 points for New Orleans, which had won five of its previous six games.
The Pels are 25-and-33.
